Saskatchewan child dead after contracting H1N1 flu (Regina Leader-Post)

A child under the age of 10 has become the third person in Saskatchewan to die after contracting the H1N1 flu virus, also known as the swine flu, according to the provincial Department of Health.

6 probable swine flu cases pending at Omaha lab (Lincoln Journal Star)

Nebraska health officials say six probable cases of swine flu are pending at the state’s health lab in Omaha. The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services said three of those cases are in Platte County involving two boys ages 5-18 and a woman in her 20s.
