H1N1 flu cases top 1,000 (CHCA News)

On the same day the public learned a second Alberta woman had died after contracting swine flu, a local infectious disease doctor called the H1N1 flu pandemic “the most important” health event of the last 40 years.

Total 1217 Confirmed H1N1 (Swine Flu) Cases in Singapore

Singapore has announced 106 new cases of H1N1 flu (swine flu) on 7 July 2009. This brings the total number of people infected in Singapore to 1217. Investigations are on-going for 77 cases. Of the 60 cases reviewed today, there were 52 local cases and 8 imported cases.

129 A (H1N1) patients recovered (Nhân Dân)

Nhan Dan – The Ministry of Health on July 6 confirmed an additional 9 A(H1N1) flu cases across the country, bringing the total to 235. Of the newly-detected cases, six are in the south and two in the central and one in the north.
